St. Andrews is a seaside resort on the south west corner of New brunswick, and lies about thirty minutes from the border with the United States. St. Andrews-by-the-Sea as it is also known, was settled by United Empire Loyalists following the American war of independence. The town is situated on the Bay of Funday which experiences some of the highest tides in the world - known to rise to over 28 feet.
