With its historic buildings – including Parisian-style townhouses, former palaces and museums – many of the area’s most impressive hotels are places where past meets the present in glorious fashion. If you’re after something more contemporary, then there are stylish urban options too – and as the capital’s artistic heartland, Recoleta even boasts several with their own on-site galleries. Location, location, location

A good-value, centrally located boutique offering, Blank Hotel has spacious, bright rooms – but is still a quiet spot too, which may be a relief after a day out. Just a short walk from some of the top sights in the city, along with world-class shopping and restaurants and of course the famous cemetery.
Sileo is another brilliant boutique option with bags of great features, from a rooftop pool and sauna to its own on-site gallery. It’s also just a 15-minute walk from the cemetery, along with local parks, landmarks and designer shops just minutes away.
