Wales – West

Many people consider the true beginning of West Wales to be the Loughor bridge and the border of Swansea and Carmarthenshire when travelling west towards Carmarthenshire. At this point, road signs change from English before Welsh to Welsh before English. This is due to the vastly increased use of the Welsh language in the West Wales area. Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion truly feel far from the rest of the mainland and you can explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast as it sweeps via St David's Head past the candy-coloured harbour towns of Tenby and Aberaeron, where we list charming hotels, as well as others further inland. The order by which the hotels are listed bears no reflection on our preference.
