| A real home from home, this fine house was designed by James Milne in the early 1800s and is now owned and run as a B&B by Fiona and Colin Mitchell-Rose. It has three lovely guest rooms and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Always mindful of their guests' comfort, Fiona and Colin provide a host of little extras. The garden and separate entrance are bonuses and, if you’d rather self-cater, they have an apartment nearby. |

THEY SAY This comfortable and beautifully decorated bed and breakfast is in Danube Street, built in the early 1800's and designed by the architect James Milne.
The street is part of fashionable Stockbridge, conveniently close to the centre of Edinburgh: a ten minute walk through some of the finest classical architecture in Europe and you are in Princes Street.
Fiona and Colin Mitchell-Rose have set aside three bedrooms in their family house, each with en-suite bathrooms, and you will have your own key, and your own entrance.
The Mitchell-Roses know Edinburgh well and are always happy to advise you about restaurants, shopping or places to see.
