| A stiletto’s step from avenue Montaigne, home to Christian Dior, Valentino and other great names of haute couture, the elegantly opulent San Régis has been a second home to the movers and shakers of the fashion world since it opened in 1923. Behind a handsome neoclassical façade, it is furnished in country-house style, with a smart restaurant, lined with faux books, an English-style bar and salon, luxurious bedrooms, impeccable bathrooms and a winter garden. Wonderfully attentive staff. |

The Birth of A Legend... The essence of charm, luxury and intimacy has been preserved at Hotel San Régis. In order to fully understand the hotel’s unique atmosphere, you have to go back in time till 1857, the year when the Suez Canal was inaugurated : Mr. Edmond Petit ordered the building of his private townhouse in this privileged location, at the crossroads of fashion, entertainment and business. In 1923, Mr. Simon André Terrail, owner of the famous restaurant “La Tour d’Argent”, acquired this stylish residence to turn it into a hotel. The San Régis was born to accommodate the British tourists for whom Paris had become a fashionable destination.
