THEY SAY: An authentic rural bed and breakfast in the heart of the countryside, just 9 km from the Etrusco-Roman village of Fiesole and 16 from Florence. The house is situated on an ancient road leading from the great Renaissance city to the cooler climes of the Mugello (summer residence of the Medici family). An ideal base for visiting the artistic cities of Tuscany and relaxing in the tranquillity of the Fiorentine hills. Casa Palmira was created by Assunta and Stefano to make guests and travellers feel at home. Available to guests are a large lounge with a fireplace, a patio with shady pergola and barbecue, fresh vegetables from the garden, sweeping lawns, delightful interiors, comfortable rooms, tasteful furnishings, cosy beds, and wholesome tasty breakfasts.
