| Behind an unpretentious facade lies this handsome Regency home, a treasure trove of family heirlooms and good antiques amassed by owners Tim Culkin and Austin Lynch. Leading down to a river, the imaginatively planted garden is full of colour and surprises, and not surprisingly has won a clutch of awards. With wide experience across a range of culinary traditions, Austin Lynch and Tim Culkin offer delicious food, using the very finest of ingredients and combining them in new and exciting ways. There is a charming Regency dining room, drawing room, hall and garden for pre-dinner drinks. Guests bring their own wine. The garden at Millgate House won the first National Royal Horticultural Society/Daily Mail National Garden Competition out of 3200 entries. Since then the garden has featured in many publications both nationally and internationally.
