Auberge de la Madone Côte d'Azur, France

“Enchanting family-run inn perched on a cliff-edge high above the Med, with fabulous sea views. Fantastic on site restaurant serves locally grown produce to the highest standard. Understated rooms with private balconies boast spectacular views of the orchards, olive groves and distant sea. Romantic.”

“Family-run auberge in a stunning setting on the edge of impossibly perched Peillon, high above Nice. Time stands still: dark cobbled alleys lead to the church and tall stone houses look over rocky crests and distant forests. Bedrooms are fairly small but comfortable; excellent food is served on the sunny terrace or welcoming dining room.”
