“Set amid two acres of wild and cultivated gardens with a new subtropical garden, the award-winning Bishopsdale Oast offers a gorgeous country retreat, whether you want a quick escape from the city, or you're here for a spot of local exploring; Rye and the coast and many gardens and castles are all nearby. Owners Iain and Jane have created a beautiful B&B from what was orginally an oast house for drying and storing hops. Recently refurbished, Interiors are elegant in an understated way, and feature many original details including brickwork and beamed ceilings galore. With just five bedrooms, it's an intimate hideaway, and even better for those looking for a grown up break, as no children under fourteen are allowed! With grounds to explore, views to soak up and a pretty terrace for sitting out in warmer months, it really is the country idyll! Dinner is available on request and all diets are catered for. The Popup restaurant is available for parties of 4 +.”
