“Step back into the Golden Age in this serene pair of canal houses filled with the owners’ collection of fine antiques and treasures. It feels more like a private house, albeit a grand one, than a hotel. Breakfast is served beneath a crystal chandelier in a beautiful salon with a view of the garden. Persian rugs cover a polished parquet floor and magnificent mouldings and a grand piano complete the picture. The Canal House is currently closed for renovations. We are looking forward to seeing the new and improved hotel when it reopens in October 2010.”
