“A Boutique retreat in the Ladadika district with bars, clubs and restaurants on its doorstep. A traditional ottoman era building, stylish cocooning interiors, and a great restaurant. Explore the city streets, or take a relaxing stroll along the scenic Grecian coastline.”

Hotel Overview

“This two-storey, pink-stucco confection on the edge of the Ladadika nightlife district is Thessaloniki’s first really stylish boutique hotel. Originally the city post office, it’s one of the few Ottoman-era buildings to have survived fire, earthquake and two world wars, and was given a total revamp in 2000 under the eye of Lena Capsis. There are 20 rooms and suites, all thoroughly soundproofed and furnished with deep handmade carpets and a mixture of antique and repro furniture. Terrific food at the Medusa bistro-bar and Deipnosophistis restaurant.”

“Petite, elegant, warm and hospitable, Capsis Bristol revives the historical building of the old Ottoman Post office at the corner of Katouni and Oplopoiou Street. The building underwent complete restoration in 2000 by Ms. Lena Capsis, leaving the stamp of the collector's authentic decorative style.”
