Photo of Casa Howard

“Behind the unmarked door of a secluded 19th-century palazzo, Massimiliano Leonardi and Jennifer Howard’s second-floor guest house is a home-from-home. There’s no concierge, just ‘house-genie’ Edgar, who shows you the ‘honesty fridge’, packed with cold drinks. In the five individually decorated bedrooms, the feel is high-style but never flash, with beautifully chosen furniture and objets d’art. There’s also an amazing Turkish hammam.”

They say

“Casa Howard Rome on Via Capo le Case was opened in 2000 and resembles an English-style guest house, while situated inside a historic Roman building near the Spanish Steps.

Walk up the marble steps and enter a heavenly realm of peace and quietness after the hustle and bustle of the Spanish Steps area.

This cosy, charming accommodation in Rome, resembles the private house of a stylish friend, with its high wooden-beamed ceilings, parquet floors, and its 5 tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished rooms.”
