“This elegant gem is tucked away among the designer boutiques near the Spanish Steps, a superb location mere footsteps from the Via del Corso. Its five cosy rooms and one junior suite are tastefully decorated in muted tones accented with baroque treasures like giant gilt mirrors, oil paintings and mahogany dressers. Tea trays in each room are kitted out with kettles and Rosenthal china tea cups, or help yourself from the Nespresso machine and fridge in the communal kitchenette. Swanky minimalist bathrooms feature L’Occitane toiletries, overhead showers, fluffy robes and slippers. A courteous concierge offers a personalised service and is eager to make suggestions and reservations. For those wishing to cocoon themselves in luxury in the heart of Rome, look no further than this elegant pied-a-terre.”
