“The Dormy House on the Farncombe Estate, just outside Broadway and bang next door to the golf club, has recently reopened following a complete refurb. The forty rooms have been stylishly finished and traditional features sit nicely with modern touches: each room has its own tablet and nespresso machine. Luxury comes as standard with spoiling toiletries and fluffy bathrobes, and the children haven't been forgotten either with special bed linen and bathrobes, plus baby listening service if you want a grown up dinner! ”

“Why do people love staying in your hotel?
We’ve taken a traditional, 17th century farmhouse on a Cotswold hillside and transformed it into a glamorous and indulgent place to eat, stay and generally hang out in style.
What is there to do in the area? Walk, drive or cycle around the beautiful Cotswolds. Take a specially prepared Dormy House picnic with you. Visit Cheltenham, Broadway, Stratford and Oxford.
What kind of breakfast do you offer?
Full English Breakfast served in the Garden Room
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? Lunch in the informal rustic restaurant called the Potting Shed and dinner in the charming Garden Room. Seasonal country food, sourced locally.
The Garden room is open Tuesday – Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch, the Potting Shed is open for dining 7 days a week from 10am – 9.30pm.
Which are your most popular room types, and why?
The Attic - One of the two largest and most luxurious suites at the Dormy, the attic is full of country charm. Tucked away in the Farmhouse a staircase leads you to a beautiful suite, with exposed oak beams, fabulous bedroom, lounge area and a spectacular bathroom.
Top Notch - Best bedrooms at the Dormy and a truly indulgent and comfortable experience. You’ll enjoy a large bedroom with relaxing seating area and a great bathroom with separate power shower and bath. Great views over the gardens or countryside, some of the top notch rooms also have a private terrace.
What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers? We hope you’ll take the chance to put your feet up, let yourself be pampered, eat too much and relax by a log fire with a drink in your hand at The Dormy!”
