“Behind a period façade, the Eastwest is a little oasis of tranquil chic. Rooms and suites are elegant and contemporary, done out in rich colours with dark wood floors, Nespresso machines and as much high-techery as you could want. The two duplex suites are accessed through the patio at the back with its wall of peacefully flowing water and after dinner have the patio to themselves. The restaurant, set up by the Pourcel twins, offers delicious fusion food and any lingering effects can be worked off in the small but well-equipped fitness room.”
