“Part of the same group as the Kipling and a bit of a Geneva legend, the Edelweiss is quite simply a Swiss chalet transported to the middle of town. Situated on a quiet square barely 100m from the lake, it’s not for everyone but the wood-lined rooms are cosy and comfortable and the welcome is warm. Famously, there is live music (including yodelling and alphorn!) every night in the restaurant, which specialises in fondue and other typically Swiss dishes. Good option for families, and children tend to love the musical entertainment.”
