“A slice of life when Biarritz was at the height of fashion and elegance, this 19th century three story house mercifully retains many of its original features, including wood panelling, creaking wooden floors and old mirrors. There’s no lift. Bedrooms are very attractive (standards are small though others are very spacious) and in keeping with the nostalgic feel of the house. Good breakfast; loads of character, with more of the feel of a private guesthouse than a hotel in the very centre of the city. ”
