“Flop down on one of the battered tan leather sofas in the relaxed sitting/bar area, and you’ll probably end up chatting to someone in the arts world. Arty people are drawn to this young guesthouse (opened in 2005), with its terrific location amongst the trendy shops of Westbourne Grove, its changing displays of artworks, and its friendly, informal feel. Choose between standard and terrace bedrooms, all decorated in a similar, unfussy style, but the latter with space outside for table and chairs. All have queen-sized beds (no singles or twins). From April to September the deck in the front garden becomes a buzzing café for breakfast, lunch, tea and cocktails.”
