“This meticulously restored 17th century townhouse with its unique stucco facade is the first luxurious boutique hotel in Marbella´s vibrant Old Town.
All seven stylish rooms and suits are situated around the galleries of the main patio and have been individually interior decorated, each unique in their themes!
The stunning public areas, including a light-filled interior patio and a cozy lounge area downstairs and a unique terrace overlooking the Old Town are perfect for pre or after dinner drinks, or just relaxing with a glass of wine and some delicious tapas.”

“Why do people love staying in your hotel?
Because it is different from all the other hotels in Marbella. It is a very small and privately run hotel set in a historic building from the 17th century. People love staying because it´s a “home away from home” with a very special customer service and attention to detail.
What is there to do in the area or on site?
We can organize in-house Spanish cooking lessons, Flamenco classes, wine tastings. As we are located in the heart of the old town, it is easy to walk the charming little streets and enjoy the special atmosphere of the old town. Plenty of restaurants and café´s with character around.
For those who love to sunbathe, the beach is only a 5 minute walk away, too.
What kind of breakfast do you offer?
When paying the full rack rate we offer a complete à la carte breakfast which includes amongst the basic things like croissants, fruit, bread, coffee, tea, yoghurts: Jabugo Ham, eggs, cheese, muesli, granola, cereals, smoked salmon, etc.
With special offers we have our continental breakfast which consists of: a fresh fruit platter, croissant, bread, marmalade, honey, butter, coffee, tea of hot chocolate, orange juice and yoghurts.
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?
We have a snack menu with simple dishes like salad, pizza, hoummous, pasta, soups but we can cook more substantial meals. For that we need a day´s notice though in order to arrange the shopping. It´s fresh market food that is in season, usually a fish and vegetables, risotto, or even meat based dishes. We are quite flexible and if guests tell us that they want to have lunch or dinner in or on our rooftop terrace it can be done. For a gourmet dinner, we would need a week´s notice at least in order to arrange a different chef for it. We have had special gourmet dinner parties (starting from 6 people though).
Local restaurants can be recommended. Often the owners or chefs change so we don´t want to make a fix list. In the rooms we have an updated list with our top recommendations according to season.
Which are your most popular room types, and why?
All room types are popular. They all are unique rooms with a touch of traditional style mixed with modern style (some have an open plan bathroom) and they just differ in size, so all rooms really are popular.
What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers?
Hotel Claude is not your typical hotel. It is a very special little hotel that combines quality, privacy, home away from home, relaxation in the heart of the historic old town of Marbella. It´s a truly unique retreat!”
