“Getting here is an adventure; arriving doesn’t disappoint. Thirty years ago, Loutro was a ghost village. Now, it has revived. Porto Loutro is very much part of this, with its simple, blue-and-white rooms and apartments (slightly more basic) or hillside rooms with a more sophisticated breakfast buffet. All have en-suite facilities, air-conditioning and balcony or terrace; some have mini-kitchens.”
