“Mallorca is an exceptional island paradise that deserves exceptional hotels. The Jumeirah perches high up on a cliff face looking into the Mediterranean and across the Port of Sóller to the UNESCO world heritage Tramuntana Mountains. The location and low-rise architecture of the property is quite outstanding. The buildings create an oasis of calm with Mallorcan stone floors, and carefully planted gardens of local flora. World-class service & hospitality, a choice of three restaurants, stunning spa, and three swimming pools. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty within 30 minutes drive of one of Europe’s most attractive cities. Fabulous local dining and great activities on your doorstep. This is 360° of Luxury.”

“Why do people love staying in your hotel?
People love staying with us for many reasons; our ideal location on the picturesque and unspoilt Northwest coast of Mallorca, the breath taking views over the Mediterranean Sea, the port of Sóller and the Tramuntana mountain range, but what they love most is our excellent service and the loving and caring staff.
What is there to do in the area?
Staying at Jumeirah Port Soller, in the midst of nature, there are many things to do and to discover. In the area of Port de Sóller you can do all kinds of activities from physical ones such as water sports, hiking, cycling and climbing to more leisurely opportunities like shopping, visiting cultural sites or museums and golfing. On top of this, guests can opt for our ‘Unique Experiences’ programme, providing a variety of carefully selected recommendations for exciting activities around the island. From tranquil cultural adventures such as Bird Watching and Walk and Wine experiences to thrilling once in a lifetime opportunities such as Heli Hikes and Pro Cycling Experiences, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
What kind of breakfast do you offer?
For breakfast we offer an international buffet breakfast at the Cap Roig restaurant, which also includes some delicious, typical Mallorcan delights. There is also an à la carte option to choose from. During high season, we offer a special gourmet breakfast at the Es Fanals restaurant, which consists of a four course menu, for adults only.
Can you recommend good places to eat out locally?
Good places to eat out at the Port of Sóller are ‘Las Olas’, ‘Randemar’ or ‘Es Passeig’.
Which are your most popular room types, and why?
The most popular room types are our signature suites, The Observatory Suite, the Lighthouse Suite and our Mar Blau Suite.
The Observatory Suite is known for its pure elegance and luxurious décor boasting high-end finishes and special touches such as exclusive area rugs and local artwork. This suite features floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, to create a fantastic open plan living area that blends in with the expansive terrace. Definitely the perfect place for relaxed evenings with friends or family where you can enjoy unobstructed sunset views over the shimmering Mediterranean Sea.
The Lighthouse Suite is very popular amongst honeymooners due to its 180-degree views and the private terrace with an integrated Jacuzzi. Adding to its allure guests can enjoy romantic, intimate moments and unlock the sky’s mysteries by night with the in –room telescope and star chart.
The Mar Blau Suite is very popular because of its house-like design. The top floor features an open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining and living area with fireplace surrounded by colourful and modern furnishings. Tasteful touches such as wood floorings, local artwork and a soothing palette of blue and natural tones complete this effortless and relaxed style.
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms?
We have a kids club called Barbarojas kids club which offers many different activities for our youngest guests as well as a family friendly swimming pool, Sa Talaia. It is possible to fit extra beds in our rooms.
What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers?
Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa is the perfect place to discover the beautiful island of Mallorca. Encompassed by the Tramuntana mountain range, a recently declared UNESCO world heritage site, our hotel is proud to preserve and be a part of such a rich natural environment. We owe our breathtaking views overlooking the sea and the charming Port de Sóller to our unique location, perched atop an impressive cliff.
By creating “cultural connections” for our guests, we spark their curiosity and engage with their individual tastes and interests through providing insights into the cultural heritage of our local community. We invite you to enjoy the world class service and traditional hospitality for which Jumeirah is renowned.”
One of those places where your mood lifts the minute you step through the door. A sip of orange juice – from fruit picked in the valley – and a long look across the sea and mountains is enough to put a smile on anyone’s face. The hotel is modern but not over-designed, and you feel you are somewhere special.
