“Inside this tall, typically 19th-century pink-and-yellow building, set back from the harbour and above a bustling taverna, polished wood stairs lead to airy rooms with high ceilings painted in ornate floral patterns, tall windows, and balconies overlooking the circular harbour. As well as the six rooms, there are studios with kitchenettes in a newer adjoining building. Altogether charming, though steep stairs mean it’s not ideal for families with small children, and in high season the quayside is a constant hubbub.”
