“Moreton in Marsh is the perfect place to base yourself for exploring the Cotswolds, Bath and Oxford and if you're looking for somewhere a bit special to stay, then the Manor House should definitely fit the bill. Its thirty five bedrooms have been tastefully decorated with warm hues and interesting fabrics. But the piece de resistance has to be the Apple Cottage suite with its private garden and hot tub, plus separate sitting and dining areas. If you want to dine in there are two options: The Mulberry Restaurant for fine dining or the more informal Beagle Bar & Brasserie. There's even a beautiful garden for sitting out on a warm evening with a glass of something appropriate! It's the ideal place for a country escape (if you're not looking for something too rural) or as a base for exploring the fascinating and beautiful surrounding area.”

“Why do people love staying in your hotel?
The Manor House Hotel offers guests the perfect stay in the Cotswolds.
Our dedication to delivering the authentic Country House style for our visitors always begins with a core list of high standards that we insist on whether it be the welcoming glow of a lit fire, fresh flowers and plants, quality reading matter or the presentation of the stylish décor and antique furniture.
What is there to do in the area?
Whether you’re looking to visit castles or historic houses, magical gardens or walks through arboretums, designer shopping on the high street or antique hunting in one of the Cotswold market towns, the Manor House Hotel is ideally located for visiting all of the many attractions the Cotswolds has to offer. With so much to do on our door step, let us know your interests and we can put an itinerary together for you.
What kind of breakfast do you offer?
Breakfast is served daily from 7.30am-9.30am (8am-10am on the weekend for those wanting to enjoy a later start). From the buffet selection guests can enjoy juices, yogurts, fruits, cereals, meats and cheeses. Guests can also choose from the hot selection, porridge, pancakes, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, smoked haddock and poached eggs, dippy eggs and soldiers or the full ‘Cotswold’ English breakfast using local sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, black pudding and eggs cooked to your liking! What better way to start the day?
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?
Guests can choose to dine in the Brasserie, from our Bar & Brasserie menu or alternatively our 2-rosette award winning Mulberry Restaurant. Alfresco dining is also available on warmer nights, on our Terrace or in the Secret Garden! Our popular 8-course Tasting menu experience is a must for any food lover and why not wash it down with a 6-course wine flight – four tasting glasses of wine, a glass of port and dessert wine carefully selected by our Sommelier to complement the tasting menu.
Which are your most popular room types, and why?
Apple cottage with private hot tub is our most popular room but sadly we only have one! Our Junior Suites are also very popular, large rooms with separate seating areas some with views over the historic high street or beautiful gardens. All bedrooms are ensuite, beautifully decorated and offer all the amenities to make your stay perfect.
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms?
Extra beds are available in some bedrooms for the use of children up to the age of 12.
