It's an elegant converted olive mill, with origins that date back to the 15th century (although it was rebuilt in the 19th) and large, cool, carefully-furnished rooms. The best have beams and Persian rugs strewn over quarry tiles. Within the 11-acre grounds, there's a pool, poolside restaurant and dining terrace, where first-rate regional cuisine is served. The Anglo-Franco owners are warmly welcoming hosts.”
