“Located on a wide bend in the Luangwa river, Nsefu remains much the same as the old 'hunting lodge' it was set up as so long ago. Each room is a thatched rondavel with ensuite bathrooms and good views over the river and a terraced area with game grazing. The bar area, hidden beside a huge extinct termite mound, overlooks a waterhole where game, especially leopard, can be seen at night. Excellent guiding on walks, with day and night drives on offer, as in all Robin Pope camps – of which this is one.”
