Antiques mix with contemporary pieces, like the Edra Tatlin spiral sofa, to create an eclectic feel while the honesty bar and kitchen stocked with goodies offer home comforts. Of the five light-filled rooms, two are suites and all have Frette bed linen, marshmallow soft pillows and designer furnishings. Breakfasts are delicious but the only meal served; Edinburgh’s finest restaurants are thankfully on the doorstep.”
