“Next to the church of Santa Croce and its extraordinary Baroque façade, this smart little B&B couldn’t be more central. The ground floor of the 16th-century building contains a contemporary-style café and a cellar restaurant/wine bar. The six stylishly Spartan bedrooms are done out in natural colours with bare stone walls and floors, flat screen TVs and super modern bathrooms. Each has its own characteristic; ‘Sinagoga’, for example, features stone columns from the synagogue that once stood on this site.”
