“Truly romantic, great value, superb food: a Georgian manor with a delicate frill of a veranda, pretty courtyard garden, heart-shaped lawn and 200-year old beach avenue. Michelin-starred chef Chris Chown and his wife Gunna offer delightful bedrooms, while Chris conjures imaginative, unpretentious dinners using the best and freshest local produce (excellent wine list) and perfect breakfasts. Magical. Closed from December to March.”

They say

“Why do people love staying in your hotel? First and foremost our famous food, but people also like the fact that they can escape the city life without losing the sophisticated lifestyle

What is there to do in the area or on site? Relax on site in utter peace and quiet, or enjoy the region’s spectacular scenery walking the Llŷn coastal path

What kind of breakfast do you offer? Full Welsh, local ingredients personally cooked to order by Chris Chown

Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? Our main focus is dinner, we also offer Sunday lunch, there are a few pubs locally

Which are your most popular room types, and why? Doubles with wetrooms and walk in showers – romantic and chic!

What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers? Don’t be fooled by the wedding cake prettiness of the Georgian House – inside Plas Bodegroes is bang up to date!”
