“A stone's throw from Aldgate East tube and the super-trendy Whitechapel Gallery (not to mention the culinary delights of Brick Lane) Qbic is delightfully different. Casual, off-beat decor verges on the eccentric in places - sculptural furniture made of garden hose etc - but there is no compromise on comfort and service. Rooms feature very comfortable beds in front of giant glam pictures, high quality TVs and chic bathroom pods, and the breakfast is rather fine as well. Highly recommended, especially but not exclusively for those on a budget. Free coffee on every floor, and frequent reminders of the eco-friendly measures (solar panels, recycling practices etc) that are a major concern to the perfect Qbic guests.
Taking its online presence seriously, the hotel offers a #QbicRecommends service, offering regular updates for guests, or "experience-hungry urban explorers" in the lingo of the establishment ”
