“Once in your room, you’re enveloped in coddled, designer luxury – vast beds covered in luxurious linen, deep freestanding baths, super-powerful showers. The stairs and corridors could do with a bit of smartening up, but the seven individual bedrooms are light and airy, toiletries are smart and delicately scented, towels as thick and fluffy as you would expect. Breakfast is excellent, sporting burstingly juicy bangers, deliciously salty bacon and succulent mushrooms and well as perfect flaky croissants. ”

They say
“Russell’s opened in 2004, following a painstaking restoration which transformed this historic building into an elegant and contemporary ‘restaurant with rooms’.
A modern, airy restaurant with terrace and private dining room are located on the ground floor. Above the restaurant are seven individually designed bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, luxury bedlinen and air conditioning. Flat screen televisions, broadband internet access and original architectural features all combine to create a supremely comfortable experience.”
