“A ten room hotel reminiscent of the English home counties in the 1940s. It has been run since the mid 1990s by Sripathi Sinharachchi and his wife Pipi, and many say this is the best guest house and perhaps the best home cooking in Kandy. Some rooms have balconies for excellent birdwatching. No pool, but there is a spice garden and fruit garden, and Pipi makes all her own chutneys. You eat what she offers, which is no hardship at all.”
