“The Dunn family has lived in this house since they built it in 1495. Staying with them is a very personal, very English experience. The house is lovely, Tudor with 18th. century additions (by William Wyatt) and it is furnished with antiques. Mrs Dunn’s cooking has won a Michelin Bib Gourmande. Much of the produce comes from a fine garden and pheasant shooting is offered on the estate. The eight rooms vary in size, but are comfortable and pretty. There is croquet on the lawn and, of course, they do picnics for Glyndebourne. Very English, very nice.”
