“A former Royal Navy station, this hotel is a gem nestled in the hilltop. The rooms are enormous and feature a dash of old fashioned charm in the furniture. Everything however is 21st century elegance - ipod docks, coffee makers and stunning bathrooms. Snorkelling equipment and the like can be borrowed from the hotel, as can tennis accessories for a grand slam game on the hotel courts. The cuisine is Italian, and excellent at that, using produce from the organic kitchen gardens. Considering the location and service, this is outstanding value (prices are quoted on a half board basis)”
