Baroque thrones, glossy black chandeliers, animal hides and an alluring palate of spice, scarlet and dark chocolate create a quirky, sensual feel. The sparkly bar and swanky One Below nightclub draw an urbane crowd. Beyond all the pizzazz and gimmicks the standard of service, food and comfort is pleasingly high.”
