The Upper House Hong Kong (Pacific Place)

“A uniquely, and superbly, designed, Andre Fu, hotel that combines the best of boutique with typically giant Asian luxury. Huge stylish bedrooms and bathrooms with ceiling to floor windows and all the mod cons craved for by technology junkies. A refreshing city stay.”

Photo of The Upper House

“Since opening in 2009, the Upper House has risen to become the Hong Kong traveller’s hotel of choice, tempering sleek, serene style with unbeatable service. Ascending the escalator ¬– through a wooden tunnel backlit with lights – one has the sense of being absorbed into a cocoon away from a city that unremittingly pulses with energy. Here, calm is king: in the elevators, for instance, the ‘close’ button has been deliberately excluded to prevent any frantic pushing that might disrupt it. But what really sets the Upper House apart in a city as crammed as Hong Kong is space, with its crisp, elegant rooms each at a minimum of 730 square feet with panoramic views of skyscrapers and mountains beyond. ”
