Vivanta by Taj Ambassador Delhi, India

“The least expensive of the Taj group's three properties in Delhi, but by no means lesser value. Its old world charm and colonial heritage make it a delightful place to stay. Huge rooms with balconies, marble floors, teak panelling. For business and pleasure. ”

Photo of Vivanta by Taj Ambassador

“The Taj Mahal is the elegant and traditional flagship of Taj Hotels’ three properties in Delhi (the second is Taj Palace with over 400 rooms) but for those looking for a central address at less exalted prices, the third of the group is the most interesting, now part of Taj Hotels’ Vivanta collection. The colonnaded building, dating from the 1950s, though thoroughly modernised, except for the tiny lifts, exudes an old world charm and a peaceful ambience and stands close to lovely Lodi Gardens, perfect for strolling, and Khan Market, excellent for shopping. ”
