The Hotel Guru offers an advice service to help you choose the right hotel to stay in. The advice of our experts is not necessarily restricted to the hotels reviewed on the site - we have knowledge of many more in many areas of the world. The basic service is free, but where more complex itineraries are advised on, our fees start at £40 or $75, and payment can be accepted by Visa or Mastercard in UK pounds, US dollars or Euros. Once paid, these fees are non-refundable, whether you choose to accept the advice or not.

If you decide to book a hotel we recommend as part of this service (whether featured on the site or not), we would like you to let us make the booking on your behalf, as it is the referral fees that some hotels pay which help to meet the costs of our free travel advice service. There is no difference to the cost of your room. Your contract will be direct with the hotel, and The Hotel Guru LLP does not accept liability for advice given, either verbally or within our reviews. Hotels and hotel facilities can change or alter without prior warning, and you are strongly advised to check alternative sources before making any booking. You will also be subject to the cancellation policy of the hotel or hotels booked - please make sure you familiarise yourself with these prior to booking, and you are advised to take out travel insurance. Hotels are reviewed and included on an entirely independent basis, and no fees are charged or can be accepted for recommending individual hotels. However, featured hotels are able to take advantage of additional services, such as direct weblinks to their hotel websites, as well as dedicated hotel pages with additional images, testimonials, their own descriptions (in addition to our impartial reviews) and mapping. However, the Hotel Guru reserves the right to withdraw hotels from the site at their discretion, in which case fees paid are refundable on a pro rata basis according to the length of contract remaining. Other than this, fees are non-refundable once paid, provided the additional services paid for remain active on the site.
