“A small, family-run hotel, a stone’s throw from the sea, with an excellent restaurant and friendly staff. The rooms have a fresh contemporary feel with a nod towards its coastal positioning seen in the nautical touches. Ideally positioned to explore the charming town by foot.”

Hotel Review

Housed in a building that is typical of this Pas-de-Calais seaside resort, Le Spéranza is a good value and well-positioned hotel. Recently updated, the décor is modern with a coastal theme across the eight bedrooms and one self-catering apartment. While the hotel is not directly on the seafront, it’s set just behind Wimereux’s wide promenade and a minute’s walk from the sandy beach. Wimereux itself is a charming town, close to Boulogne-sur-Mer, and a short drive from Calais. The hotel’s dining room is in the cellar and has superb set menus and an emphasis on seafood, while breakfast is relaxed with a self-service buffet. Parking can be a challenge as there’s no car park, however, the hotel is within walking distance of everywhere in Wimereux.
