“A luxury, design focussed, B&B oozing effortless style and elegance, perched atop a cliff edge with breathtaking views. Chic minimalist rooms are light and airy and reflective of the surrounding nature. Lovingly cooked breakfasts are delicious and the pool is a spectacle. Fabulous.”

Hotel Review

The journey to Metafort is a treat in itself; winding roads lead you through picturesque Provencal fields up to the mountain village of Methamis. You instantly feel at home the minute you walk through the door of Metafort, a handsome 17th century house which has been lovingly restored by its charming owners, Isa and Philippe. The interiors are cool and stylish; think minimalism and industrial chic with an eclectic splash of furnishings and artwork. If you are fortunate enough to be in the sky room, you can roll your bed through the bi-fold doors onto the roof terrace and sleep under the stars. Each room is fitted with an indulgent hot tub bath tub which is perfect for winding down after a long walk or cycle in the hills. The piece de resistance is without doubt the location. Metafort is perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the dramatic Mont Ventoux and Nesque Gorge. The view is simply breathtaking and triggers an instant feeling of peace and seclusion. One can pass the time taking a dip in the sleek concrete infinity pool or simply sit and enjoy the view from one of the many nooks and crannies, hidden amidst bursts of wild flowers. Come 6pm guests are presented with glasses of refreshing Rose and homemade nibbles. Breakfast is an inviting continental spread, with homemade jams, breads and pastries. A visit to Metafort is an absolute must.
