The Wykeham Arms

This characterful 18th century coaching inn in the heart of the cobbled streets of Winchester has long been a popular watering hole for locals and visitors. Pewter and ceramic tankards are strung across the doorways and ceiling with quirky pictures lining the walls. Food is robust, flavoursome and nicely presented to you at mismatched wooden tables with chairs and benches. Upstairs, overnight guests might need to duck under low beams and cross creaky floorboards to reach their room. All rooms are individually decorated with antique furnishings in keeping with the traditional feel.
