“A grand Cotswold manor set in 12 manicured acres. Beautiful rooms and suites are decorated with a fresh take on traditional design. Two restaurants (headed by a two-star Michelin chef) and a full-service spa with a hydrotherapy pool make this ideal for a couple's escape.”

Hotel Review

Nestled within the serene Wiltshire countryside lies Whatley Manor, a pioneering gem heralding the title of the UK's first climate-positive hotel. They have been on their sustainability journey since February 2019 and throughout your stay you'll come across ecofriendly initiatives such as the Hansgrohe Ecosmart shower heads which consume 40% less water whilst still delivery a great shower.

Exuding an aura of refined luxury, this exclusive country house hotel and spa, housed within an 18th-century Grade II-listed edifice, promises an indulgent escape for discerning adults who are looking for a pampering break. With just 23 elegant rooms and suites, guests are treated to an intimate ambience where every need is anticipated with utmost care from the delicious homemade brownies in the rooms to the complimentary bicycles beckoning for exploration.

The rooms and suites at Whatley Manor exude a sense of airy sophistication, boasting spacious bathrooms and tastefully preserved period features like beamed ceilings and hardwood floors. Bathrooms are plastic free and Molton Brown products are bottled in ceramic jars removing 26,000 plastic bottles from the hotel - the first hotel to work with Molton Brown in this way.

Culinary excellence takes centre stage at Whatley Manor with two distinguished restaurants to choose from: the gastronomic Michelin Star Dining Room and the inviting Grey’s Brasserie.

For moments of blissful relaxation, the Aquarias spa and gym beckons with its indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy pool, a luxurious thermal suite including a relaxation room with heated beds, salt scrub showers and a tempting menu of rejuvenating treatments from Sothys - treatment beds are wide and heated encouraging deep relaxation. Meanwhile, the green, ornamental gardens invite tranquil strolls amid the birdsong.

While horse riding and golf are within easy reach for those seeking outdoor country pursuits, the hotel's calm and inviting ambience and pampering allure may tempt guests to linger and savour every moment of its calming embrace.
