Hotel Review

Five beautifully designed rooms tucked away on the first floor of a restored nineteenth century villa, Prana Home offers yoga and wellness lovers a cosy, characterful hideaway in the heart of Colombo. Eclectic decor features gorgeous antique furniture with bright patterns and bold modern touches. Rooms are spacious and quirky, and the best balconies overlook the leafy courtyard garden. There is a wonderful programme of yoga, meditation and holistic treatments on the ground floor, along with the lovely Kumbuk Café — brimming with brunch and smoothies aplenty. To top things off, many of Colombo’s highlights are just a walk away: verdant Viharamahadevi Park, the Lionel Wendt theatre, the Saturday Good Market, and a whole host of brilliant boutiques, galleries and restaurants waiting to be explored.
