Hotel Review

The Farm at Cape Kidnappers offers something a little authentically different – a highly luxurious stay in the midst of a 6000 acre North Island sheep farm. With its hilltop coastal position on the craggy peninsula of Cape Kidnappers, panoramic views out to the Pacific Ocean and across the farm are guaranteed from every angle. Rooms are built with river stone and weathered wood, and ooze an understated elegance to strike the perfect balance between rustic rural charm and modern style. Features include open fireplaces, simple wooden doors, contemporary art and quirky photos on the walls, plus double-sinked bathrooms and oversized bathtubs. Explore some of the scenic walking trails on the farm, including cliff, ocean and forest trails, and backpacks, blankets, picnics, directions and guides are available too. The property also has riding and mountain biking tracks, a spa, swimming pool and golf course. A rural retreat with the good life down to a tee.
