Why do people love staying with you?
Because we are a quirky 17th century B+B on the outskirts of a rural village in the middle of beautiful Cotswold countryside.

What is there to do in the area?
So much! Chedworth Roman Villa (3 miles away) is the second most important Roman Villa in the country and a lovely walk. We are also close to Hidcote and Kiftsgate gardens, many National Trust and private houses such as Sudely Castle, Seizincote & Chavenage House. There are beautiful walks to North, South, East and West of our property plus just we're a short drive from the Cotswold villages of Bibury, Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold. Cirencester is our nearest market town with many independent shops and we are just 10 miles from Cheltenham with its racecourse and literary and music festivals.

What kind of breakfast do you offer?
A hearty full English breakfast is served every morning, prepared with locally-grown produce. Cereal, porridge, home-made jams, marmalade and our own honey are also available, alongside a healthy “continental” option with seasonal fruits. We have vegetarian options too! Either served in our courtyard - weather permitting - or in the AGA warmed kitchen.

Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?
Supper and/or afternoon tea are also available in advance on request. Our local pub just 100 yds away offers good pub food and the Wheatsheaf at Northleach is just a 10 minute drive away. Or try some of the wine from our own vineyard!

Which are your most popular room types, and why?
We have just two rooms available - our King room has a comfy antique Emperor-sized bed and overlooks our pretty courtyard. Inside the refurbished barn attached to the house, the Suite consists of a mezzanine bedroom with double bed, dressing room and bathroom; a private self contained drawing room containing a grand piano, as well as a log burning stove and a private entrance - which makes it an ideal place for a romantic weekend away. Breakfast is served in the main house.

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ?
We do not have any facilities for children and regret we cannot fit extra beds in either of our rooms.
