“A recent entry onto the boutique scene, Klapsons provides a fashionable stay for couples and businessmen. A futuristic lobby leads to modern restaurant serving equally modern cuisine. Rooms are a cosier affair with warm palettes and fun features: statement showers and electric curtains and lighting.”

Hotel Review

Singapore's latest offering in the boutique department. The creation of Italian design house Sawaya & Moroni and their first property in the Asian market. Judging by Klapsons' success, we hope to expect many more. From the moment you walk in, it is an assault on the senses: the reception desk that appears to float above a bubbling pool of water; a stay at Klapsons is like sleeping in a work of art. Whilst the communal areas are quite 2001: A Space Odyssey, the rooms are less stark and have warm, colourful palettes. Even the Executive Rooms, the entry level category, are of a good size and feature either in-room clear, cylindrical showers or open arches with your choice of LED lighting, almost every colour of the rainbow. And the rooms only get better! All the suites feature private balconies with hot tubs. It's a tough call but the Klapson's Suite would have to be the top pick: you could host a small party on that terrace. If you haven't opted for a suite, then enjoy the city scape views from Fabrika, the hotel's roof top bar; however the Champagne bar is the hotel's best hidden secret, a cosy nook serving some moreish cocktails. The Sleeping Rhino serves a creative continental menu, presented with flair, however it can be a little pricey. A continental breakfast is also served here. Unfortunately there is no spa or pool, however in room treatments can be arranged. The hotel's central location, in Singapore's CBD makes this hotel ideal for visiting on business.
