Hotel Review

This luxury wilderness camp situated in a remote region of Western Australia on Kooljaman (the Aboriginal word for Cape Leveque) is jointly owned and run by the traditional owners of the land, the Aboriginal communities of Djarindjin and Ardyloon. As well as providing tourists with an unforgettable and authentic experience, the camp has been a model of success for creating jobs in the community by incorporating tourism into this sacred landscape with minimal impact. Rustic-chic is the order of the day, and there are a wide range of accommodations and campsites on offer to suit every budget and traveller. These range from fully furnished deluxe safari tents (with fridges, linen and all cooking equipment provided) to beach camping shelters where you have to bring your own bed. Take advantage of the indigenous guides and tours on offer (don’t miss mud crabbing with Brian Lee) to learn about the stunning surrounding landscape.
