Hotel Review

This 1930s green-tiled guesthouse is located in Porto's district of Bonfim. The neighbourhood is characterised by beautiful gardens, natural light and coloured windows. Although a bit off the beaten track, the historic centre of Porto, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, can be reached within a 20-minute walk. Porto offers endless entertainment - from historic markets to museums to nightlife and urban wandering. Its beauty lies in its medieval cobbled streets, coloured houses and fresh cuisine. Overall, this guesthouse stands out for its elegant rooms. The three rooms are flooded by natural light and are decorated with family memorabilia, artwork, flowers and mirrors. Public spaces and kitchen are kept in their traditional design, while also being homely and welcoming. Owner Juan goes the extra mile in making you feel at home. A fresh breakfast of local produce is served in a lush garden, where guests can mingle. All-in-all, this guesthouse offers a welcoming, elegant base from which to explore the bustling city of Porto from a quieter location.

This elegant three-room guesthouse is the kind of house you wish you lived in yourself. The bedrooms are large, light and tranquil with white walls, stripped wood floors, squashy sofas and fresh flowers. The shared areas are sophisticated and welcoming in an understated way.
