“Rustic German-owned hideaway far from the madding crowds and off the beaten track where guests are given equal measures of privacy and pampering. Ideal for those who crave simplicity and solitude with only the sounds of nature to disturb the peace. Perfect for couples and small groups.”

Hotel Review

Arriving at Paradise Gardens is an experience in itself. No signs, no direct vehicle access - it's all very under the radar and more retreat than resort. The loyal, longterm team greet you and carry luggage along a higgledy-piggledy path through palm groves to a pristine secluded beach. Hidden in vegetation are two private villas each very different. One is stone built, turreted with space for up to four people. An upstairs bedroom with open bathroom and terrace has glassless windows inviting the breeze. The other dwelling suits two, is more adobe-style with undulating whitewashed walls, portholes of differing shapes and sizes and appealing, spacious green tadelakt bathroom. While low key there's no shortage of thoughtful details - Hindu statuettes decorated with fresh jasmine flowers, a water bucket to rinse sandy feet and handbell to summon staff. Delicious meals are delivered to a beachside table while burning incense wafts nearby.
