Hotel Overview

“Forget the big five-star hotels: Mere steps away from Harrods in a quiet Knightsbridge backstreet, this upscale five-star boutique hotel offers old-world tradition and personal service that marks it out from corporate mega-chains. Rooms reflect English country house elegance, with antiques, floral wallpapers and luxurious soft furnishings, plus down pillows and swanky Savoir mattresses to ease you into a deep slumber. Bright marble bathrooms boast Temple Spa products and rainfall showers. The refurbished Penthouse Suite’s contemporary vibe is represented in parquet flooring and neutral walls with bursts of colourful soft furnishings. A chic, dark-panelled bar create an intimate space for cocktails, and a further feather in The Capital’s cap is Outlaw’s Seafood Restaurant & Grill, an outpost of Michelin-starred Nathan Outlaw’s Cornish eatery, with delicate fish offered in sophisticated surroundings.”

See What They Say

“Why do people love staying in your hotel? It’s the friendliest hotel in London with a comfortable ambience and of course the location doesn’t get better. The award winning and long serving Front of House team are dedicated to making each stay the smoothest it can be.

What is there to do in the area? Plenty. Shopping - just 76 steps away from Harrods and around the corner from Harvey Nichols with the Kings Road a short walk or bus ride. Hyde Park is across the road – lovely for picnics and concerts in the summer and for the famous Christmas market in winter. The Albert Hall, V&A and Natural History museums are all in walking distance.

What kind of breakfast do you offer? guests enjoy a wide range of options from an extensive Continental buffet or they and can choose from the cooked breakfast menu. All served in the elegant restaurant.

Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? The Capital is lucky to have Nathan Outlaw’s only London restaurant (one Michelin Star – we advise guests to book in advance) as well as the Knightsbridge Metro next door offering a great sharing-style menu of complementary dishes and excellent value for money. There are plenty of restaurants in the area including those within Harrods and of course Sale Pepe across the street in Pavilion Road

Which are your most popular room types, and why? The most requested rooms are our Classic Kings due to their spacious size and classic British design. The Superior Junior Suites are also popular for the separate sitting area, sofa bed, and two bathrooms

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ? Some of our rooms can accommodate an extra sofa-bed for children under 12. We can also provide cots for the very young and dedicated amenities such as children’s bathrobes.

What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers? We look forward to welcoming you personally to our boutique five-star hotel soon.”
