Hotel Overview

“Villa Armena is an historic property situated not far from Siena, just outside Buonconvento, one of the region's most beautiful villages (and that's saying something when you think of the local competition!). With just ten individually designed rooms (of which seven are suites), you are guaranteed a quiet atmosphere, and the owners offer a warm welcome. The interiors have been crafted in a classic style; there's plenty of exposed beams, traditional terracotta tiled floors and rich fabrics all beautifully accessorised with antique furnishings and original artworks. Bathrooms on the other hand are very contemporary with sleek square sinks, huge showers, baths you won't want to get out of, and complimentary smellies. Foodies will not leave disappointed either. The philosophy here is to use ingredients sourced as locally as possible (the aim is zero kilometres!) and the chefs espouse the "slow food" producers in order to guarantee top quality and provenance. You can expect fabulous regional dishes served either in the atmospheric dining room or in the summer you can dine under the stars. There's a seriously impressive wine cellar too. Villa Armena is the perfect destination for those who want a grown-up, sophisticated base from which to explore this glorious region, but is equally ideal for those who simply want to chill by the pool with a good book and glass of something cold!”

“Why do people love staying in your hotel?
People love staying at Villa Armena because of the cosy environment and because with only 10 rooms and the fact that the hotel is directly run by the family, they really do feel more like at home than in an impersonal hotel belonging to a big chain.

What is there to do in the area?
In the area there is just tons of things to do, in fact there is so much I'd suggest you take a look at the "Tuscany" section on our website where you will see just some of the activities our guests can engage on.

What kind of breakfast do you offer?
We offer a full continental breakfast included in the price with fresh vegetables drinks, fruit, croissants, cakes, biscuits of any sort, etc plus a breakfast menu (not included in the price) with eggs cooked in many different ways and hot dishes such as english breakfast or home made pancakes.

Do you offer other meals?
We have an in house restaurant that offer Tuscan delights

Which are your most popular room types, and why?
All our rooms are different and special. I would not say that there is one that is particularly popular

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ?
The most important thing we offer for children is total safety as we are lost in the nature with almost no car passing by and no danger for them at all. Yes we can fit extra beds from the Junior Suite upwards but always contact us first to see if it's possible to have it.
